Circle your calendars for September 13th All My Children fans! That is when Susan Lucci’s (Erica, AMC) best-selling memoir, All My Life, will be released in paperback, and it will be an updated version of her New York Times best-selling book that contains an emotionally-charged chapter from the actress on the subject of AMC’s cancellation.

According to Soap Opera Digest, this new chapter addition was written before Prospect Park announced its plans to continue AMC on the web. And in the updated version,  “Lucci reveals her frustration with what she views as a series of bad decisions made by ABC Daytime President, Brian Frons that squandered the daytime institution she’d called home since 1970. “There’s little doubt in my mind that this plan must have been in place for some time,” she writes. “One big question that keeps me up at nights is, ‘Did Brian Frons have this on his agenda when he moved the show to L.A.?’”

We think this surely will be a must-read! We hear Lucci also includes her thoughts on how Chuck Pratt, the former maligned head writer of the series, made some very wrong and damaging choices for the characters of Pine Valley!

I wonder if it will be available in another format for folks who’ve already bought either the hardcover or the Kindle version, because even though the book is good, I don’t know that I want to buy another copy just for one chapter.
