The Young and the Restless has certainly not been afraid, or shied away from bombshell, and sometimes twisted and outlandish plot points under head writer and executive producer, Chuck Pratt Jr.
This lastest one involving Sharon (Sharon Case) being drugged to believe she is pregnant by the evil Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) is about to come off the rails this week on the number one soap opera.
But the question is, just what on earth is Dr. Anderson’s issue? Who is she truly in a vendetta against? Why did she kidnap baby Christian and want to make Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) believe their baby died, meanwhile drug inducing a fragile Sharon while she was supposed to be seeking mental health treatment?

While we are waiting for Dylan (Steve Burton) to wise up and figure out what is being perpetrated on Sharon, and Nick and Sage, it looks like Sharon will be convinced that she gave birth to this child and raise Christian as her own! But won’t it eventually be revealed to be Sage and Nick’s … err, Sage and Adam’s (Justin Hartley)? Some members in the viewing audiences now are thinking that this story down the line might somehow reunite and intersect “Shadam” – Sharon and Adam, if Sharon were raising Adam’s child, and he found out about it.
But this time, for once, can Sharon rebuke that this baby is hers? Can she be a heroine that will fight back and figure out what has been done to her by this horrific doctor?
