Get ready to head back to Southfork ranch! TNT announced yesterday that the DALLAS reboot will bow on Wednesday night, June 13th at 9 p.m. ET. Season 1 of the new DALLAS will have ten new episodes!

Look for Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray to reprise their famous characters as J.R., Bobby and Sue Ellen Ewing who return to Southfork with secrets, schemes and betrayals. T his time, they’re joined by the next generation of Ewings, played by Josh Henderson and Jesse Metcalfe, who take ambition and deception to a new level.  DALLAS also stars Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo and Brenda Strong.  Shot on location in the title city, “Dallas” comes to TNT from Warner Horizon Television, with premiere episode writer Cynthia Cidre and director Michael M. Robin serving as executive producers.  It was developed by Cidre and created by David Jacobs.

Now watch some of the exciting Sneak Peek promos for the series after the jump, and then let us know who you are looking forward to seeing the most again? Or, what newbie is of interest to you?  Yee-Haw!

It seems that TNT’s rebirth of Dallas has encouraged other networks to invest in primetime soap pilots. The young leads seem to be compeilling. Hopefully the scripts do not push over-acting and hyperbole — making the new Dallas a parody of its 1980s success.

With only a 10-episode committment, I suspect that the drama will be over-the-top and a turn off to many viewers. The best hope for Dallas is to establish strong character traits among John Ross (prodigal son) and Christopher (moral compass) with an act of betrayal building during the short run and to be revealed during a renewal by TNT.

Keep Larry Hagman sober and just acting on it, and it might work! He single handly ruined the original after 1985 he became power hungry etc. I will watch to see I loved the original.

Larry Hagman is clean and sober with a new liver. But, why is he doing this reboot? He looks like one of the original vampires! What is he; eighty-something?! Give it up, Larry. You had great success with the original (which I loved). There’s no need to go back to that well again.
