Two of daytime’s most familiar names appear together again in Sunday night’s Hallmark Channel’s TV Movie premiere of Murder, She Baked: A Deadly Recipe (9PMET/8PMCT). In it, Days of our Lives veteran Alison Sweeney (Ex-Sami) and All My Children’s Cameron Mathison (Ex-Ryan) play Hannah and Mike.
In this installment of the Murder, She Baked series, the log lines indicate: Bakery owner Hannah Swensen just can’t keep her hands out of the batter when murder stirs things up in Lake Eden, Minnesota, leaving the sheriff dead, a deputy accused, and a killer on the loose. For years, Sheriff Grant’s been the iron hand in town, but when his dead body is discovered, Hannah’s brother-in-law is accused of the crime. Soon, Hannah’s dishing up scandalous secrets, steaming hot betrayals, and enough intrigue to keep the gossip mill at The Cookie Jar going through several pots of decaf. And the closer Hannah gets to the truth, the closer she gets to finding the murderer with a calorie-laden, nasty recipe for silencing people. ”
But, who is really going to steal Hannah’s heart in the end of it all? Well, during a behind the scenes moment of shooting A Deadly Recipe, Sweeney, Mathison. and their co-star Gabriel Hogan (Norman) took some time on their lunch break to weigh-in on the matter.
