9 February 10th, 2013 Tonight: An All-New REVENGE & The Wedding Shocker Of The Season!

Courtesy/ABC

ABC’s hit soapy drama in the Hamptons, Revenge, returns tonight with all-new episodes at 9PMEST/PT! And from all the on-air promos, something major happens after Jack (Nick Wechsler) and Amanda (Margarita Levieva) apparently say their, “I do’s” while a brokenhearted Emily (Emily VanCamp) looks on!

In the new episode entitled Union,” emotions run deep when Jack and Amanda’s wedding reminds Emily of what could have been. Meanwhile, things for Daniel (Josh Bowman) get complicated at Grayson Global, and Conrad (Henry Czerny) begins a new chapter.

So soapers, are you still rooting for Emily and Jack  to end up togther?  Do you like Jack with Amanda? Should Emily find true love with Aiden or Daniel?  And what is Emily doing on what appears to be Jack and Amanda’s honeymoon night (on a boat) holding a gun?  Or, is she?  So many questions that hopefully we will get some answers to tonight!

Watch a sneak peek for tonight’s episode after the jump and then weigh-in!

I used to love this show, but this season, it’s been just bizarrely plotted. I still have a couple eps from January on my DVR. Not sure if I’m going to watch or skip. A sad state for such a once great show!

I discovered this show late-I actually watched the entire first season online last February & loved it. For some reason I could not get into the 2nd season-it is too “dark” (the lighting AND the storylines) & VERY confusing to keep up with. I ended up deleting it off my DVR. It just wore me out. Disappointing.

Andrew… I am almost where you are… this season it is all about the Initative… everyone is involved with it and I miss Emily and Nolan being in charge of exacting the revenge. May not watch if the Initative is the main character and everyone is working for them by choice or by threat. Emily needs to be doing and not just reacting… miss the Nolan we were introduced to last season.

My “must see” TV show! It doesn’t insult your intelligence, makes you think outside the box. I love Emily and Daniel – let Jack and Amanda move on.

I like Emily and Daniel together, too. I find Jack & Declan to be among the most boring people on the planet & am hoping that both of them turn out to be the dead bodies on the boat. Key word is “hoping” since I don’t really think it will be them. I fear the Porter snoozefest will continue.

revenge really has a problem w/ racial diversity. they casted a foster care brother of emily’s and of course the actor has to be African american. that’s typical of revenge. they only use racial diversity casting to bash racial minorities. the new black char of course has to have a poor background bec he’s her foster care brother. ashley madekwe’s char has to be the assistant to the rich and white graysen family bec she’s a racial minority. all of victoria’s help are women of color. Asian american char padma of course has to be one of rich and white lgbt char nolan’s employees. and of course she’s paired w/ nolan bec hollywood often only romantically pairs Asian american women w/ white men bec majority of romantic leading men often have to be portrayed by white actors. it’s bec whiteness has to be the ideal and universal for tolerant hollywood. and of course takeda has to be hollywood’s typical Asian male char. he’s a martial arts expert and mentoring emily’s revenge but of course he has to be asexual bec this is how racist hollywood is. film roles given to asian actors are majority genre martial arts movies bec hollywood doesn’t want them to broaden their appeal outside of the martial arts niche while every kinda role is available for white actors. it’s bec hollywood’s racist and
they love dehumanizing racial minorities. channing potatum is romantically portrayed on gi joe but korean actor byun hu is asexualized as is rain from ninja assassin. action movies w/ white lead actors must have a romantic pairing but none for asian american actors bec hollywood’s racist. same thing w/ revenge’s takeda. typical from the “tolerant” crowd of hollywood.

if lgbt char nolan had no romantic storylines then glaad and hollywood and the entertainment press and the mainstream manhattan media would scream homophobia but of course there are no screams of racism w/ the portrayals of the racial minority chars. but of course white and openly gay showrunner mike kelley would not neglect nolan. I stopped watching revenge after season1 bec there were no improvement of the portrayals of racial minorities. emily van camp’s wooden and horrid on racist tv show revenge and now she’s cast as the leading lady on racist capt. america franchise. that summer movie of course had to portray them as accepting of racial minorities despite the second world war setting. of course bec “captain america” can’t be racist and racism is too heavy a topic. yet the movie threw offensive jokes at the japanese american and the african american char. the japanese american char’s loyalty was questioned and he had to say he was from fresno all bec he’s not white. would they have asked abt the loyalty of the white chars? of course not. while the african american char had to tell them that he’s educated bec he spoke a foreign language. would a white char have to say he’s educated? of course not. typical from the tolerance crowd of hollywood. racism from dumb summer movies like capt. america and primetime soaps like revenge are typical of tolerant hollywood.
