Is Eileen still taping at Days currently or is she wrapped up her latest story arc?

    Victoria C replied

Sharon Case was dissed and that really sucks!

    Tommy replied

Wow Sharon Newman / Sharon Case didn’t make the cut? Why she had a amazing year!

    Kay replied

Come on what happened to y&R?????? Sharon Case and Peter Bergman should win . That Chelsea character better not win and Heather Tom again bore

  2. Shawna says:

My question would be for Jason Thompson, first of all Congratulations to him again and I hope he wins this year because he should have last year.

I am wondering his thoughts on a possible Robin recast because how Robin is being written is truly upsetting along with Scrubs.
I have watched since Robin first arrived on GH and when she was diagnosed with HIV, she thought her future just disappeared but she has been blessed where many with this virus haven’t and I don’t believe she would leave her family even for Jason who I admit does mean a lot to her. My Robin would have told Anna, Robert, Sonny, Frisco…somebody who could help Jason. She wouldn’t trust a Cassadine or the WSB giving her parent’s history with the organization.

Robin was also left by her mother and father because they were off on missions and found themselves taken from her. Robin grew up needing her mom and dad and not having them around during the darkest moments of her life. I don’t believe knowing how she grew up that she would leave Emma to struggle the same way.

I also don’t believe knowing how precious life is due to her HIV status that she would throw away time with her family when she already missed so much. Robin is smarter than this and Scrubs are stronger than this as a couple. I’m sorry for the rant but I am hopping mad over this.

Lastly, I love Kimberly and I am so attached to her as Robin and I don’t want the role recast but if Kimberly is done and wants to direct than I stand behind her decision as a fan and would prefer they recast instead of ruin a character I love as much as I love Robin.

    Adrienne C. replied

Thank you, Shawna! My thoughts exactly about Robin’s departure, so disappointing!

  3. Tommy says:

If Michelle Stafford should guest in light of her surprise appearance today on GH

I love her and am glad to see her back and on GH, though I feel no one can do Phyllis like her, would she consider (if asked) playing double duty like EIleen D. does on Y&R and GH?

  4. Tommy says:

For Eileen Davidson – If GH had a part would you consider being the first actress to be on 3 soaps at once?

I adore her, she is amazing, watching her as Susan reminds me of watching Elizabeth Montgomery playing Samantha and her wacky cousin Serena, you really think they are two separate actress’.

Will we see Susan this time? PLEASE!! She needs to return and talk to EJ and fight those vampires! lol

  5. Kathy says:

I would like to know why Jacqueline MacInnes Wood of B&B (who submitted a pre-nomination reel) wasn’t nominated. Her storyline about the miscarriage was gut-wrenching and in my opinion, far more of an outstanding performance than any of those from the soap nominated within that field. But nothing Bradley Bell does surprises me in the least.

But that leads to the overall issue on why The Bold and the Beautiful has lost its way. Instead of maintaining the balance of the cast and story lines that Bell Sr. had firmly in place, Bradley Bell decided to take the soap into a different avenue. He focused instead on what he deemed “The Core Four” – John McCook (Eric Forrester), Susan Flannery (Stephanie Forrester), Ronn Moss (Ridge Forrester) and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan Forrester), while other characters took a back seat. Instead of character driven story lines, we saw plot driven story lines develop without a nod to the rich layers of history and nurturing of the characters his father Bell Sr. so carefully crafted. We also saw the rise of the Logan family, aka “his underdogs”, permanently ensconced within Forrester Creations, while the core family, the Forresters, have become marginalized. With the constant rewriting of history and its characters, the show has become disjointed and, save for a few brief moments (an example being the death of Stephanie Forrester’s mother Ann Douglas), unwatchable. We the fans would like to see Bold & the Beautiful return to its roots of BALANCED and diverse storytelling where the cast as an ensemble; not just 2 or 3 people can be represented. We want to see balanced, meaningful storylines involving People of Color, as well as our brothers and sisters within the LGBT community; not storylines using them as props or as “The social cause of the sweeps” period. And we finally want to see strong, self-assured young women on the show who don’t need a man to define who they are, or who are passed around between men like a baseball trading card. Women of all shapes, sizes and colors, and not just some idealized of beauty. Indie soaps/webseries such as ANACOSTIA, DeVanity, The Bay, etc., are accomplishing this with limited budgets and superior writing; therefore, there is no excuse.

Most of us are long-term B&B viewers and fans who grew up with the series and bonded with our mothers, sisters, grandmothers and girlfriends over the show. We allowed the characters to enter our homes for 1/2 hour a day, 5 days a week. When Bradley Bell said to fans “change the channel if you don’t like the direction of the show”, we were at first dismayed that he would disrespect our loyalty like that; therefore, many viewers took his advice & did just that. And lest you forget, fans who choose to change the channel are also fans whose advertising DOLLARS support CBS, and the show to boot. We are consumers who purchase the goods and services in commercials played DURING the show. The production company Bell-Phillip may own the rights to the show; however, the show would not have a place to be aired without CBS running it in its daytime slot. Moreover, since Reality TV (i.e., talk shows) shows are less costly to produce and air on television, B&B can easily be replaced.

It is time to restore a #BoldandBalanced show to #BoldandBeautiful

  6. su0000 says:

It doesn’t look like anybody is happy about GH not being nominated, and rightfully so….

there could be backlash over no GH, and boycotting could occur..

To leave GH out of the nominations when only 4 soaps running, is outrages.

  7. Robin Cornett says:

Congratulations to you all! Wish you all could win, but right now rooting for Jason Thompson, I picked a few of the scenes he was outstanding in. Congratulations to my all time favorite soap One Life To Live, you all rocked that soap. Now I am digging General Hospital again.
