Tonight, Y&R will officially be in its new primetime home for you, the fans and viewers of the show, who will no longer watch same-day and date episodes on SOAPnet, because the shows has moved to cable channel TVGN!

The move kicks-off tonight with a very special Countdown to The Young and the Restless at 6pMEST/PST where a “live” audience will watch and interact with stars of the series who will be introduced to TVGN viewers, and you will get some fun insights as the show celebrates its new cable home.

Then, after Countdown to The Young and the Restless immediately following at 7PMEST/PST is today’s all-new episode of Y&R at night. A nd on the episode, Jack’s birthday party offers up some surprises and Nick realizes he has to tell Avery the truth about Summer!

In case you don’t know where to find TVGN in your area, or through your cable distributor, here is a handy way to locate the channel number!  Go to the TVGN homepage and enter your zip code.   TVGN is usually available on channel 273 if you have DirecTV, or channel 117 on Dish Network.

Another important programming note:  Tuesday through Friday mornings, the previous nights Y&R episode repeat at 10:00 AM ET/PT.  And on Monday mornings, the Friday episode will air in that time slot.  So, that gives you two shots at catching the latest episode of Y&R on TVGN before the new episode arrives at night!

Will you be watching all-new episodes at night on TVGN of the number one soap, The Young and the Restless. Let us know!

As of this time, I am still able to watch Y&R daily which still airs on CBS @ 12:30. I will stay on this schedule but in the future I may have to use it if CBS makes any changes. Thank you TVGN for airing on primetime for other people who need flexability watching this soap.

Would not watch the disaster that Y&R is now under JFP. Don’t appreciate the Avery Steve Burton hour, its not Y&R.

When JFP threw out super actors for her friends and a bunch of newbies Y&R became irrelevant and no more.

She is more destructive and very little constructive. Im against the soap press which all too often mimics whatever the producers want said.

The more times Y&R is on the better! Just in case CBS decides to do something crazy like ABC did with their soaps, now we don’t have to worry! Thanks TVGuide Network, you’ve made a lot of people very happy! By the way, I don’t think CBS would ever cancel Y&R, just sayin’!! Best network on TV!

I have watched Y&R from day one, It has become hard to watch, it was bad enough under MAB and now JPF is just as bad, if not worse..I know there has to be a better writing team than what they have now..not a B&B fan but did watch Monday shows, and the writing was excllent Y&R needed that kind of lines when Nick told Phyllis about Summer not being his.. Phyllis would torn the place up.. she would have brought it home, like Heather Tom did.. if Y&R actors are given the story and the lines they are the best..however they need a good writing team.. I could go on & on about the writing at Y&R

Unfortunately Cablevision does not carry the channel so after many years of being a dedicated viewer, I will no longer be able to watch it in the evening if I miss it on CBS during the day.

    It’s a bad move.

Well I have it and like it with one exception, the ending is usually where they put the big cliff hangers and TVGN decided to put whats next in full audio and second screen mode, si I missed the ending as well as the preview for the next show… Please change this TVGN.

I am glad it’s on another channel. CBS gets interrupted constantly in the beginning, middle and end of
the show and that portion is not usually replayed. I now
can watch or record on TVGN if the morning episode doesn’t fully air
