We all know that there is no place like daytime soap operas to find the sexiest men and women in television! So today TVGuide.com is featuring on their homepage a photo gallery of some of the sexiest stars of the genre, as selected by their editorial team.

Should have looked at the article first. Plenty of former and/or future soap star picks (Alicia Mishew, Nadia Bjorlin)…so clearly the pickers are either blind or too young to remember Greg on GH and Y&R!

I also agree – Steve Burton and Kelly Monaco. If I could pick two guys, I would also add Dominic Zamprogna for sure!!!! Clearly, I am an ABC Soaps fan, but I truly believe the three I named above are the sexiest soap stars across the networks, although Nadia Bjorlin is also a very stunning woman as well !!!!

Days: UM, Peter Reckell??? Hottest man always!! Kristian Alfonso is gorgeous and I’d agree with Blake Berris – that kid is a hottie. I like to look at Galen Gering’s face and James Scott of course.

Freddie Smith is very cute, but for some reason I’ve always been attracted to Blake Berris’ nerdy cuteness. I have a soft spot for nerds. I like smart guys and bad boys. Luckily I outgrew my affinitey for bad boys in real life long ago.

Almost an embarrassment of riches! Too many to choose from. Non-soap watchers have NO IDEA what they are missing! My personal picks:

Male: Roger Howarth or Trevor St. John
Female: Bree Wlliamson or Melissa Archer

But, the list goes on, & on of beautiful, sexy, talented soap stars. I’ve always thought Nadia Bjorlin & Galen Gehring are too beautiful to be human. Lol.

Girl please, Alison Sweeney is the Anti Sexy. She is not hot no way no how. I’d pick Nadia Bjorlin, Ari Zucker, Eileen Davidson, and Kristian Alfonso over her any day. As for the men I’ve always been partial to Bryan Dattilo, the man is damn sexy. Galen, Eric, and Peter are all super sexy too.

As for GH, I vote for Dominic Zamprogna, Julie Marie Berman, and Kelly Monaco.

the usual from hollywood. brainwashing the public again to define physical attractiveness standards as being white bec majority of these actors are white. the progressive limo liberals of hollywood left love to trash america’s strength and influence around the planet and its colonialist past. yet colonialism is alive bec of hollywood. this colonial mentality of beauty being defined as white is being force fed by hollywood to its foreign consumers bec hollywood’s racist. they do not want to give acting opportunities to racial minorities. it’s hilarious how they scream abt diversity and tolerance when they’re the most intolerant to racial diversity. how pathetic that soaps still don’t have Asian american leading men and women and lack hispanic and Asian american core families. yet hollywood loves to preach abt tolerance from their bully pulpits yet their products love trashing racial minorities by brainwashing the public to believing that looking white is what’s considered as ideal.

Stephen Nichols (Tucker, YR) and Bryan Datillo (Lucas, DOOL) should have been at the top of the hot soap man list! I have never seen a hotter man on soaps than Stephen Nichols! Bryan Datillo comes close. I’m glad Steve Burton (Jason, GH) made their list.

I would, for once, just like to see Jacqueline MacInnes Wood without all the caked on makeup. While she is beautiful, we can never really see the natural beauty or the beauty that lies within LESS makeup like Kim Matula or Linsey Godfrey.

I don’t agree with the Y&R omissions of Michelle Stafford, Billy Miller, Tracy E. Bregman. Heck, even Jennifer Landon. Christian LeBlanc is sexy too. So is Elizabeth Hendrickson. Since Melody Thomas Scott lost 50 pounds she has looked more amazing than ever!

As for GH, what about Laura Wright? Finola Hughes? Tristan Rogers?
Kassie DePaiva is older, but still pretty darn sexy.

Zack Conroy was really sexy with his OLD haircut, now not so much.

While Sharon Case plays a woman who cannot live without a man and has a beautiful, fit body, her face and neck are aging from too much sun damage (just like Cameron Diaz). I, personally, find older woman sexier than her.

Melissa Claire Egan is pretty, but her character on Y&R is not as sexy as she was on AMC.

Are they judging character or actor? I’m confused because some of the pictures were from their work while others were posed or publicity.

You are so right! That list is a little inflated too with people who aren’t even on a soap or right now. Weird.
I voted for Kim as well. Hope is beautiful and the best character on B&B right now. Why is she being cheated out of screen time anyway? Liam & Steffy are a complete dud! The show couldn’t be more boring right now.

I think it is her easygoing, authentic personality that makes Kim so appealing. JMW just tries too hard to “build her brand” and it comes off as fake. Oh how I miss the sweet love story of Hope and Liam, and the chemistry between KM and SC. Liam and Steffy are a mismatch, the chemistry is forced. They are impossible to watch, and are ruining the other storylines for me.
