8 July 7th, 2011 TVLine Update on AMC & OLTL Rescue: “Some inaccuracies & press release due out soon”!

TVLine.com has been doing some digging after last night’s bombshell from the New York Post that has All My Children and One Life to Live being saved and moved online to continue their sagas by a three year old media firm, Prospect Park, founded by former Walt Disney Studios  president, Richard H.  Frank and talent management executive, Jeff Kwatinetz.  Here  is what TVLine had to say below after doing some investigative work on the confusing situation:

TVLine: “While a Prospect Park rep did not immediately get back to us and an ABC Daytime spokesperson declined to comment, a well-placed ABC source did tell us that the Post‘s reporting contains “inaccuracies.” The insider could not elaborate on the errors — Will only existing episodes be streamed? Are Lucci and her hefty paycheck in fact not part of the deal? — but soap fans shouldn’t be kept guessing for long. I’m hearing that a press release regarding the rumored “rescue” is due out soon.”

Did the Post jump the gun here?  On-Air On-Soaps is continuing to report on the situation throughout the day.   Stay tuned for more info on this developing story!

If Prospect Park picks up One Life To Live and All My Children, we (hundreds of millions of LOYAL viewers) will come immediately…. and as we have done for 40 plus years, in support of our beloved shows, we will bring our significant Sponsor Product buying dollars with us.

Yes, there are millions of soap viewers, but not online. I pray this isn’t true, the shows won’t make it. Not good enough, ABC/Disney.

Wouldn’t do me any good. Live in rural America, along with lots of soap fans, can not get DSL access. This means could not watch the shows. Will not stop fighting for the soaps to come to a regular channel. Please join coupon mail in campaign to help find a real home for the soaps go to sudz.tv
