As much as I don’t care for the character of Nelle, I do think that Chloe Lanier is a good actress and tried to do a good job with the lackluster storyline that she was given. I’ve never cared for the character of Kristina Davis-too selfish and spoiled in my opinion and I like the character better when she is off-air. Summer King, I think had a terrible storyline with Luca-boring, and I really haven’t missed the character.
Alyvia Alyn Lind, as Faith, is a cute child actress and has done well with the material that has been given to her.

No contest, its Alyvia Alyn Lind. She is a bright light who will someday be a Hollywood superstar!

All of these are impressive performances, though I’m not a fan of Ms. Ainsworth. My choice would be Chloe Lanier, who took a typical revenge storyline and sent it off into the stratosphere. At times cunning, seductive, pathetic, angry, damaged…she did it all beautifully. It takes a lot for an actor to make you dislike the character and yet want to see more of them. Chloe Lanier is an actress to watch.

Yes, I totally agree with you. Chloe Lanier delivered a very good scene.

Hands down–Chloe Lainer as Nelle. She’s an amazingly gifted actress and I truly think she is going to hit the big time one day.
I am not sure why Hunter King was even nominated as she had almost no scenes this whole year.

WHOOSH! What’s that sound? The idea that Camryn Grimes wasn’t nominated for her role as Mariah. She’s a real natural, so good at acting you do not even see her trying
I wish they would not put children in the same category as “younger actor or actress.” Somehow, it seems wrong to see a seven year old competing with a twenty nine year old.

    Camryn does a good job.

Yes, they could have the even younger set compete together (boys and girls) like they do with the guest actor category.

It’s either Hunter King or Reign Edwards. Both had superb reels. I didn’t like Chloe lainers. Maybe next year, but not this year. I liked Lexi ainsworths but it wasn’t enough to keep me entertained. Alycia Linda was great but they rarely give it anybody that young. The last two people to get it at that age range was Camryn Grimes (2000) and Kimberly McCullough (1989)

I’d give it to Lexi Ainsworth. The scenes with her and Maurice Benard where Kristina comes out to Sonny were fantastic, as well as her monologue where she admitting to lying about school.

It’s also very telling once again, both Lexi and Chloe Lanier’s reels feature a number of scenes shared with Maurice, that in some cases showcase his talent more than theirs. In fact, Lanier’s reel could have just as easily been a Maurce Benard Emmy reel. Just a further reminder of what a travesty it is that he didn’t get nominated.

I don’t watch the other shows, but did watch all the clips. I liked Reign Edwards from B&B and Alyvia Alyn Lind from Y&R as well.

Chloe Lanier is good–deserved a better story–one that had the quality of plausibility.

If its done properly there is really only two choices #1 Alyvia Lyn Lind as Faith Newman or #2 Lexi Ainsworth as Kristina Corinthos.

I agree Nikki. Maybe Alyvia has to wait another year or two? Because of her young age maybe Lexi gets the nod? I wish she would be signed to a contract. She would be good to have in a good story. Her and Sonny are good together and I’d like to see her lay into Nelle! Kristini has more balls than Michael could ever dream of! They dropped Parker like a hot potato!

They are all meh, but Lexi deserves it. Jelly gave her a tough storyline to sell and she made it compelling.
