    I’d vote for;

Chad Duell (Michael) GH …. !!

((cheapshot for Kristoff St. John (Neil) to submit with the famous Shemar Moore in the scene lol .. good move ))

  2. Dan says:

Chad Duell for sure. To me, he’s been overdue to win an Emmy for the past few years, going back to that year he submitted the scenes where he revealed he had been raped in prison. He was excellent in those scenes, and he’s excellent again here. He deserves it.

  3. Jeremy says:

(Full disclosure – I religiously watch General Hospital & Days of Our Lives.

And so, after viewing only the reels submitted for this category, my predictions are:

Winner: Scott Clifton (Liam, The Bold and the Beautiful)

2nd place runner-up: Chad Duell (Michael, General Hospital)

  4. Nikki says:

I think Jacob Young should get it. His acting is amazing but your right sooo Chad Duell is fantastic as well. I do think Kristoff St. John is going to take it only because Shemar Moore is in it. Play fare Kristoff that’s not nice & you know it.

  5. Michele says:

All really strong actors, but my vote this year is for Chad Duell. Tremendous growth with some heavy material.

  6. The Substitute says:

If Scott Clifton gets it there is no justice. No offense to KSJ but should he not have been in Lead Actor category by now he has been on the show for 21 years and he had Lead Story this last year??

  7. Guest says:

I watch GH but what is Chad doing in “supporting Actor” category?

Watching the submission reels- Scott , Kristoff, and Jacob- they were ALL amazing and really prove to be in this category!!

    I think Scott 1st….. Kristoff 2nd, and Jacob 3rd…..

    KansasGuest replied

He’s considered a Supporting Actor because the Lead Actors at GH are Tony Geary, Maurice Bernard, Jason Thompson, & Billy Miller. It’s partly an age thing, and mainly a strategy to give him the best chance at winning. Youth is not considered favorably in most acting award competitions. The nomination *is* how young actors are recognized. Once in a while, there will be the exception (Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Winslet). But, they really tend to go with greater experience when deciding lead vs. supporting.

  8. Annie says:

Chad Duell all day long for the win! He deserves it – held his own, epic acting with Maurice & Maura

  9. pinevalleylover says:

Jacob for the win. Runner-up is Chad imo

  10. cat1989 says:

Jacob Young is gonna get it I can feel it
