Daytime Emmy nominated lead actor Thorsten Kaye of All My Children is in a bit of a quandry over the news that ABC will move production of All My Children from New York to Los Angeles in December. His wife, the Daytime Emmy nominated Susan Haskell (Marty) of One Life to Live, will still tape in New York. In Carolyn Hinsey’s New York Daily News column out today, she speaks with the actor on his thoughts on the big move.
“They’ve given us one week to decide. I’m not sure what I’m going to do. I’m not the kind of dad who wants to be 3,000 miles away from my kids. And it’s not exactly the best time to sell real estate. That said, I think the move shows that ABC has a lot of belief in ‘AMC’ and wants to keep it going,” says Kaye.
Stay tuned. Will big names make the move?
