Well, it seems like Genoa City’s Abby Carlton Newman, in the form of actress, Marcy Rylan, is making quite the summer splash on the number one sudser, The Young and the Restless.   So much so, that those clever editors, and photographers, at the Restless Style online magazine on SONY’s Y&R website, have created a downloadable slidehow with Ms. Abby showing off her heiress summer bod in the latest issue of Restless Style, plus there are a few pics with Abby’s new beau, Daniel Romalotti (AKA, Michael Graziadei).

Check it out,  and we have posted our favorite here!

Michael Fairman may consider this totally bad Naked Heiress crap newsworthy, and perhaps it indicates more than as a ‘male’ he is the cliche of sex sells. There is little to enjoy in this yet another gimmick that y n r writers have to dangle because of no talent in the writing department. The show in Bill Bell’s day had so much more and better story developmen and plot than this shadow of the former show. Habits die hard. The fact that y n r gets more viewer share than other soaps is just a remnant of viewers addicted to the soap…NOT that it is in fact a worthy show. Many former fans no longer watch. I have NO desire to see Abby make a fool of herself and the writers continue to cheapen women with the degrading notion that taking off your clothes publically makes you somehow ‘star quality.’ BIG THUMBS DOWN!

I completely agree with Simone. The Naked Heiress storyline is repulsive in the extreme. I am no prude. But having ‘Abby’ play this shallow and empty-headed bubble brain is just another reason I tune out. It is of no interest whatsoever to see Abby degrade herself this way. Sorry, the show – since the writers have turned Sharon into Phyllis – has totally lost me as a viewer. And not just me…so many friends have also quit the show.
