Janet gets the news that her father has died.  She goes with Jack to see him in the morgue.  Dusty tries to explain but Janet doesn’t want to hear it right now.  Jack consoles her at EOD.  Craig is sorry he ever got involved with Rosanna again, because then maybe he and Carly would still be together and she’d have a man who could be totally committed to her.  They get massages.  At EOD, Carly goes to the police station to see Jack consoling Janet.  Gabriel and Craig are talking about fathers and sons and Gabriel burns his hand on the soldering iron.  Carly insists he go to the hospital, where Liberty is waiting to see her doctor with Faith and Parker (Janet has gone to hear about Rocco).  Surrounded by her friends, Liberty hears the good news that her cancer is in retreat.  Everyone’s thrilled, but Parker is jealous, or at least put off, when Liberty hugs Gabriel.  Gabriel shows them all his sports car and tosses Liberty the keys.  At EOD, she doesn’t want to go home right away.  Parker wants to stop having a card attached to his account, so he’s not tempted to irrationally spend money like Gabriel. Craig, who needs his card to continue withdrawing from the account, convinces him otherwise. Parker’s suspicious but goes. At Milltown, Parker finds Carly visibly affected that Jack’s spending all his time with Janet. Parker finds Liberty with Gabriel and even though Gabriel makes fun of him, Parker convinces Liberty to leave with him. He tells her Rocco’s died and they go to Metro so she can be with Janet and Teri. Janet’s thrilled to hear that Liberty no longer needs chemo. Teri gently urges Janet not to turn to Jack, who left her once, but to Dusty. Liberty agrees and texts Dusty to meet them at Fashions. Janet’s surprised to see Dusty but acknowledges that she overreacted. Dusty asks her to forgive him, but Janet can’t deal with stubborn men. Dusty’s heartbroken and asks Craig if he can spend some time with Johnny. Craig unsympathetically tells Dusty he’ll never be with Janet and Carly walks in on them about to fight. Carly accuses Craig of provoking Dusty, just so Janet will never take him back, and Jack will have to care for Janet, leaving Carly left behind for Craig. Craig doesn’t deny it. He tells Carly he’ll be there for her when she doesn’t get what she needs from Jack. Jack, much to Carly’s disappointment, will go to the funeral with Janet. Dusty and Carly sadly watch Jack and Janet leave. Craig returns to his room with Johnny only to find Gabriel moving in next door. Janet, Jack, Teri and Liberty arrive at the Ciccone house for Rocco’s wake and funeral. Eddie and Aunt Marie, Janet’s brother and Aunt, aren’t the most welcoming of guest. Jack defends Janet. Teri tries to help Liberty understand why their family is so judgmental and old-school. Liberty can’t take Aunt Marie’s insulting way of talking to her and she tells Gabriel and Parker as much when they call her. Carly and Parker consider going to the funeral to be with Jack and Liberty, but they talk each other out of it. Craig encourages Carly to focus on work, and pitches a perfume line for Monte Carlo. Carly goes to work on it. Craig calls Ellis, desperate to know how much money is left in Parker’s trust fund. An assistant in Ellis’ office informs Craig that Ellis has cleaned out his desk and disappeared. Craig’s pole-axed. Meanwhile, back at the Ciccone house, Gabriel arrives, much to Liberty’s surprise, and tells her he charted a plane to fly her home whenever she likes.

Emma sees Paul and Emily in Old Town shopping for Eliza and something triggers inside of her. She goes and checks Meg out of the hospital, but not before Meg’s doctor learns from Emily that Meg acted a strangely on her overnight at Fairwinds. Emily admits to Paul that she spoke to Meg’s doctor and he defends Meg. But when they return home, they discover that Emma and Meg have taken Eliza. They rush to Snyder Farm. Meg wanted to consult with Paul, but Emma stands firm and tells Paul that Eliza belongs with her mother. Paul and Emily take Eliza home since he has legal custody. Meg’s tries to reason with Emma, but Emma tells her that she should’ve defended Meg’s right to Eliza before.

Chris and Ali arrive at WOAK, but Katie’s nowhere to be found. They realize they’ve been set up, when they’re called into the hospital. Chris and Ali are on a high after saving the life of a young patient. Chris impulsively tries to kiss Ali, but she pushes him off her and tells him she can’t jump into a relationship with him. Chris runs into Katie in Old Town and accidently dumps a smoothie on her. Chris fumbles to help her clean off her shirt and they joke about how this is the most action they’ve gotten in months. Chris takes off his shirt so Katie can have it, and Katie accidentally touches his bare chest. There’s a charged moment Katie’s quick to diffuse by strategizing about what Chris should do next with Alison. Vienna’s suspicious about Henry’s relationship with Katie and simultaneously decides she wants to wear a vintage wedding dress Barbara designed. At first Vienna goes to Katie, suspicious that they may have had a relationship while Vienna was out of town. Meanwhile, Henry tries to convince Barbara to turn down any offer Vienna may make for the dress. Barbara agrees it’s too weird, and mentions that Paul hurt her feelings today. Henry tells Barbara any man would be lucky to be loved by Barbara. Henry goes to Katie for help but Vienna’s there. Henry covers by telling Vienna he’s there to let her know Barbara can’t make the dress. Vienna goes to Barbara and Barbara agrees to sell her the dress. Vienna tells Barbara she’s planning on being pregnant with Henry’s child by the time they wed. Barbara’s shocked. Henry isn’t ready to marry Vienna yet.  She agrees to put it off, but is worried about it.

Molly and Holden make plans for a horseback ride/picnic.  But when Luke isn’t available for a foundation banquet, he recommends that Holden take his place.  Holden agrees, leaving Molly disappointed and babysitting.  Holden and Lily bond at the function, hear good things about Luke and the work he’s doing.  Molly hears from Silas and agrees to go to his LV room.  Molly leaves a note with Faith with Silas’ name and room #.  Holden gets this information and pulls Molly out of there, giving her what she wanted.  At EOD, Lily finds Ethan sick from something from Faith’s purse – gummy bears.  Faith doesn’t appreciate the lack of trust.  Lily looks at pictures of the banquet, especially one of her and Holden. Luke and Reid are in Texas.  Luke realizes Reid didn’t have much of a life in Dallas outside of his work.  So he looks up a place to have fun – a cowboy bar, complete with mechanical bull.  They each take a turn, but Luke sees that they missed the call Reid was waiting for, regarding his future in medicine.  Reid puts off calling them back, but finally does, hearing the good news, and kissing Luke.  He’d wanted to do that for a while, and then calls him “Luke.”
