Gabriel takes Liberty home before the funeral in his chartered jet. Liberty returns home to a jealous Parker, who tries to convince her Gabriel is up to no good. Liberty refuses to listen to Parker’s wild claims, so Parker storms out to prove that Gabriel has a hidden agenda. Liberty asks Gabriel to meet her at Java and warns him about Parker. Not wanting to return home to Snyder Farm or Milltown, Liberty takes up Gabriel’s offer to watch a movie in his Lakeview Hotel Room. When they arrive they find Parker going through Gabriel’s belongings. Jack, Janet, and Teri go to the funeral, but at the cemetery Dusty arrives before the burial. Eddie, who blames Dusty for Rocco’s death, confronts him. Jack takes Dusty’s punch intended for Eddie. Teri convinces Dusty to wait for them at the house. When they return Dusty pleads with Janet to forgive him. Janet tells Dusty that while she still loves him, she can’t be engaged to him for the time being. She gives him back her engagement ring and he takes Teri back to Oakdale. Jack and Janet leave without saying goodbye to her relatives.

Lily connects Carly with a perfume distributor, but when Carly asks Craig for money he becomes shifty and irritable. While meeting the distributor Craig gets a call from his PI telling him where Ellis is. Craig finds Ellis in a movie theater and Carly follows them. Ellis runs away from Craig and Carly. Craig admits to Carly that Ellis made a bad investment with the Monte Carlo money and Carly flips out on him. She berates herself for ever trusting Craig again. Desperate Craig assures her that he’ll figure it all out. Carly goes home to find Liberty there. Liberty confides in Carly that she’s worried about Parkers obsession with her. Liberty tells Carly about how Parker broke into Gabriel’s room in a fit of jealousy. Carly’s concerned. Parker goes to Java where he tells Faith he’s worried that he’s losing Liberty. He tries to buy her a surprise gift, only to find out that his trust fund has been drained. Parker notices that one of the recent charges on his trust fund was for a private jet. Parker confronts Gabriel at the Monte Carlo Office. They argue, and Parker punches Gabriel. Gabriel falls and hits his head, while freaked Parker rushes out. Gabriel lies unconscious on the floor as smoke seeps under the door. Craig has decided to burn down Monte Carlo to acquire the insurance money. The fire continues at Monte Carlo.  Parker goes to the police station to report Craig’s misuse of his trust fund and sees that there’s a fire at Monte Carlo’s address, so he goes there with Faith.  Parker is worried that no one has seen Gabriel inside, and Carly overhears him say he was “robbed,” she wonders what’s up between them.  Gabriel is eventually pulled out and brought to the hospital. Meanwhile, Lily calls Lucinda in about something they did 20 years ago. They hid from Craig that Gabriel Caras is his son. Lily thinks they should tell Craig, but Lucinda suggests several reasons why he doesn’t deserve to know.  Faith comes home and tells them that Gabriel’s in the hospital.  Lily goes there and at EOD, tells Craig that Gabriel’s his son.  Carly pressures Parker until he confesses that if Gabriel dies it’ll be his fault.  But he was confronting Gabriel about Craig’s having used Parker’s trust fund.  Carly is furious.  At EOD, Craig voices his regrets to Gabriel as Carly shoots daggers at him.

Lily desperately wants to tell Holden about Craig and Gabriel, but Lucinda comes in to prevent her because she knows Holden will tell everyone.  Lily goes to the hospital while Lucinda goes to visit Craig, to harshly say he was never really the boy’s father.  Craig is livid and grabs Lucinda by the throat. He threatens her and throws her out, then has some drinks, and goes back to the boiler room where he sees Carly.  Lucinda tells Holden the family could be in danger of Craig. Janet reminds Liberty how important they are to each other and how fulfilling their lives are and can be together, with the baby.  Jack and Dusty will help, and that’s good, but Janet’s grateful for what she has with her daughter, and realizes she wouldn’t have been better off in Melrose Park all those years. Carly continues to protect Parker, especially from Jack’s curiosity.  Jack hears from Margo it might not have been an accident that started the fire at Monte Carlo’s building.  He’s on the case.  Parker overhears Margo tell Jack that Gabriel had been unconscious and it all might have been a cover-up. Molly’s upset when Holden once again cancels a date to help Lily out. Silas calls her and Molly responds a little to his flirtatious overtures. Luke and Reid would bond some more, watching the game and having pizza.  Noah comes up and Reid irks Luke with what he says.  Then Noah calls Luke, mentions the surgery tomorrow, and Luke is upset that Reid didn’t tell him, thinking he’s up to something.  Luke goes home and Noah’s there, scared of the surgery and needing Luke.  Luke’s happy to be there for him, but we can see he’s conflicted.

It’s the day of Eliza’s custody hearing.  Meg calls the Intruder anonymously to report corruption at Deerbrook.  Emily gets a call from the Intruder and leaves the hearing to pursue this lead, which would have a sure effect on the ruling.  Emily rushes to Deerbrook to confront Dr. Galvin, who denies that Meg’s way out of Deerbrook was bought.  Emily persists until she realizes he’s not lying and Meg set her up.  The hearing ends and Emily gets back to hear that she and Paul have custody for thirty days, until another hearing.  Meg’s plan has bought her some more time.
