Carly asks Jack to call off their investigation into Blackthorn – she’s worried it’s all about Ralph and Brad’s death – she doesn’t want Jack to go off the deep end again. Jack assures her his motives are innocent. Carly goes to the spa while Jack confronts Craig and Blackthorn. Craig’s startled to hear that Blackthorn could have any association with Ralph. Blackie denies. Meanwhile, in the spa, Carly tells Janet that she should stay away from Blackie. Janet rushes off, furious for being told what to do. Carly and Lily argue about Craig and Lily establishes they are no longer partners. Carly and Jack reunite and share that they’ve both discovered that Lucinda was behind the plot to ruin Craig. They take a romantic walk in the garden, only to run into Blackie and Janet. Later, Jack realizes Blackie had the coin Jack had given Dusty… which meant that they had to have crossed paths. Lucinda arrives at Avalon but Lily wants nothing to do with her. Lucinda receives a mysterious phone call, and visits the caller – Ralph.  Blackie’s thugs keep Dusty in a pantry. Dusty manages to head butt Blackie. Blackie exits the pantry, and runs into Janet about to enter.  Craig’s only too delighted to let Lily stay in his hotel room. He offers to take her to dinner. En route he runs into Lucinda and taunts her about his relationship with Lily. He implies that they’re intimately involved and Lucinda pushes him into a pool. Craig spots Carly arriving and asks her for help, but she pushes him back in the pool. Lily comes to his rescue and they walk back to his hotel room so he can change. Lucinda spies on Craig and Lily entering his hotel room, looking very much like a couple. She goes to Ralph and insist he call Blackthorn off so she can make amends with Lily. Lily thinks about taking over WorldWide. Craig kisses her and asks her to make love to him. Lily and Craig break off from their kiss, Lily thinking all of this is a game to Craig, who doesn’t want Lily to deny what’s going on between them.  Lily thinks he’s just like Lucinda, using people for his own personal gain.  Lily suggests he focus on being a father, redeeming himself that way.

Jack won’t give up his investigation into Blackthorn and Dusty’s whereabouts. He reassures Carly he’s acting as a cop and not because of his personal issues over Brad’s death. Carly forces Jack to check in with Margo. Margo discovers Dusty was potentially forced into a limo. Jack finds the same limo in the parking lot of Avalon Castle. He’s convinced Dusty’s being held there by Blackthorn.  Blackthorn stops Janet from entering the pantry where Dusty’s being held. He convinces Janet to meet him for dinner. Janet runs into Carly and Jack at the bar and Jack tells her that he suspects Blackthorn and Dusty have crossed paths recently. Suspicious Janet returns to the pantry, where Blackthorn once again stops her from entering. Dusty manages to make noise and Janet questions Blackthorn about what’s in the pantry.  Dusty is contained by two thugs.  They bring him around back to the dumpster where Blackthorn levels a gun on him.  But Jack shoots that gun out of Blackie’s hand and Dusty is okay. Faith wants Holden to be more concerned that Lily went to a fancy hotel with a guy, namely Craig.  Holden wants to explain that he can’t control what Lily does.  Faith knows Holden still has feelings for Lily and wants him not to just sit on them.  But Holden says he’s been chasing her a long time, maybe what loves him should find him.  Lily comes over and they work in the yard as Faith looks on, happy at the tableau. Ralph wants Lucinda, whom he knows from way back as Mary Ellen Walters, to go on the run with him.  Jack eventually finds Ralph, doesn’t shoot him, but has him arrested.  At EOD, Ralph meaningfully pretends he doesn’t know Lucinda, even from the past.

Reid admonishes Katie for sleeping with Chris. He’s thinking about Chris’s health but Katie thinks Reid’s just being a bad sport. Luke runs into Chris at the hospital and tells him that Reid’s suffering keeping Chris’ secret. Chris is furious at Reid for telling Luke that he’s sick. Luke tries to intervene, but Reid and Chris argue. Katie takes Chris to a pre-school open house in Old Town. Chris starts to feel sick and rushes to the hospital. Chris asks Luke to keep Katie at bay if she comes looking for him. Luke complies, but at the EOD Katie finds Chris in the hospital on oxygen. She demands to know what’s wrong with him. Katie wonders what’s wrong with Chris, who insists he’s fine, for most of the day.  But at the wedding, he realizes he must tell her the truth and does at the EOD, saying he’s sick and may not get better.

Barbara and Henry tell Paul, Emily, Gwen and Will that they plan to marry and would like the family to support them. Paul thinks Barbara’s perpetuating the curse of Stenbeck by marrying his son. Barbara won’t be told what to do by her son, so she leaves. Henry blasts Paul for not looking out for his mother’s happiness. Will and Gwen decide they should support Barbara and Henry. They return to Fairwinds only to find Henry and Barbara gone, and Paul stubbornly opposing the union. Henry goes to Barbara and rescinds his proposal.  Henry withdraws his proposal, saying he can’t marry Barbara because he loves her too much.  He’s worried about the Stenbeck curse that his Stenbeck blood will only continue to bring Barbara pain and misery.  But Barbara won’t have it, won’t let James continue to mar the rest of her life.  Henry relents.  Separately, Kim is excited for Barbara, though Paul is reluctant.  Barbara and Henry would get married in her LV hotel room, but are brought downstairs to the lounge where it’s set up with a makeshift aisle and everything.  Chris and Katie are there as well, as are Gwen and Will.  Eerily, many of these people see the Judge as James, threatening them, but with Barbara and Henry’s vows and kind words to each other, James is cast away and Henry and Barbara are married.  Paul asks them back to Fairwinds to burn some photographs, symbolically exorcising James from their lives, hopefully for the last time.  Barbara and Henry leave for him to carry her over the threshold as, at EOD, Paul and Emily make love. Will goes to Parker to talk about their father, Hal. Parker hints that he knows what he’d like to do with his future – but he’s not telling anyone yet. Kim and Bob see John Dixon checking into the Lakeview.
