Carly and Jack go on a walk. In the woods they stumble across intimate Parker and Faith. Carly and Jack stand back while Parker stops his and Faith’s hook up before things escalate. Parker and Faith candidly share how upset they are about their parent’s rocky love lives. Carly and Jack are affected, make some noise and Parker and Faith rush to cover themselves. Carly takes Faith back to the farm, where Faith doesn’t respond very positively to Carly’s words of hope regarding love. Carly returns to Milltown where Jack and Parker have cleaned up the bridal shower. Carly’s shaken by Faith’s glum attitude toward love, but Jack reassures her that they are headed down the right path and that they are meant to be together. Chris tries to reassure Katie that he will be an unchanging presence in her life. She denies, but he stands firm and asks her to meet him halfway. Chris goes to Bob and Kim and affirms his desire to set roots in Oakdale by being considered to take over as Chief of Staff of Memorial when Bob steps down. Bob will have to submit Chris’s name to the board as well as Reid’s. Chris tells Tom that he’s interested in Katie and replacing Bob as Chief of Memorial. Tom’s realistic but positive. Katie meanwhile, breaks down in Margo’s arms about her inability to get over Brad. When Tom tells Margo that Chris has his sights set on Katie, she’s apprehensive and worries that Katie and he do not a match in heaven make. But, later, Chris helps Katie make inroads with Henry.  Katie helps Henry appeal to Barbara on WOAK. He frantically searches around Old Town and Barbara’s bedroom when a few calls come in stating people saw someone like Barbara in town. Henry’s convinced, by the presence of Barbara’s perfume/lipstick, that she’s around – just hiding from Henry to torment him. Katie’s alarmed by Henry’s intense behavior.  Katie encourages Henry to admit that Barbara has turned her back on him. Luke tries to teach Reid people skills but fails.

Barbara’s credit card is used at a lingerie store, so Paul and Henry investigate. The store owner doesn’t recognize the picture of Barbara they show her. Later, the store owner calls Emily at home to say that she found an expensive bracelet at her store – that could’ve been Barbara’s. Emily picks up the bracelet, but (furious with the way Barbara’s treated her over the years) decides to get rid of the potential evidence. Paul catches her throwing away the bracelet.  Gwen and Will speculate whether or not Emily and Paul are capable of being behind Barbara’s disappearance.    Will arrives at Fairwinds in time to hear that Emily tried to destroy potential evidence – Barbara’s bracelet. Will, Paul and Emily all accuse each other of their past crimes. Will admits to himself that he can’t be one to judge, when Gwen arrives off of just having seen Iris. Much to Will’s displeasure, Gwen has agreed to let Iris help in the search for Barbara.

Barbara’s visited by hallucinations of James, Henry, Paul and Will, none of whom can help her. Barbara vows to save herself. Barbara’s shocked to see someone who’s not a hallucination at the door – Iris.  Iris lets Barbara write a note to let everyone know that she’s alive and okay.  Iris leaves Barbara there, then goes to Old Town to put up missing posters etc. and sees Will and Gwen there.  Iris lauds the power of positive thinking and they go to Al’s.  Paul and everyone at Fairwinds reads it, and figures it’s the real deal.  Meanwhile, Gwen, Will and Hallie had been looking through Emily’s room for proof that she’s responsible for Barbara having gone missing.  Emily finds them there and she and Paul are upset by the others’ suspicion. Lucy runs into Janet in the hospital. She goes to see Dusty and informs him that she saw Janet with another man.  Lucy tries to apologize to Dusty later, and they wind up in an electric embrace. At the EOD, they are on their way to making love.  Craig helps cheer Lily up while she avoids Holden and Molly’s rehearsal dinner. When news arrives that another catastrophe has struck the perfume factory Lily impulsively decides to go to France. Worried Francoise calls Lucinda, but Lucinda thinks it’s time the whole lie blew up. Lily arrives in France only to discover there is no perfume factory. Crestfallen, she turns around to find Craig has followed her there. Holden and Molly are thrilled to welcome Abigail back to Oakdale for their wedding. Lucinda calls Holden during the rehearsal dinner to inform him that Lily may be walking into a trap in France. The women all retire to Milltown after the dinner, but Holden’s determined to rescue Lily overnight and be back in time for the wedding. Jack confides this information to Carly, who’s horrified he let Holden fly away.
