0 OLTL Recap – May 23 – May 27th

Todd is released from the hospital and is not pleased to discover that Tomas has been living at his house in his absence. Tea gets the charges against Tomas dropped and expects Tomas to move out, but after Tea leaves, Tomas tells Todd he’s not going anywhere. He reminds Tomas he has no choice in the matter, but Todd presents an alternative in the form of a gun. Bo and Nora aren’t convinced Tomas is innocent, despite having to release him from custody. Destiny comes to see Matthew, who is shocked by Clint’s confession to Eddie’s murder. Destiny begs Matt to let his uncle take the rap for him and rushes off to do damage control with Dani. Throughout the day, Matthew nurses a searing headache brought on by the injury he sustained when Nate punched him. Bo and Nora return home and Bo tells Matthew that Clint confessed because he’s dying. Matt is nonetheless determined to take responsibility for the murder and starts to tell his parents someone else knows the truth, but before he can name Nate, he collapses. Nate tells Deanna he overheard Dani and Destiny talking about Matthew’s guilt. Nate’s surprised when he sees Dani and she says nothing to him about it, but instead pretends she believes Clint’s confession. John comes to see Kelly, hopeful for information about Marty’s whereabouts but Kelly is unable to enlighten him. It comes out that Joey’s feelings for Kelly have been rekindled in the face of her near death, and Kelly suspects John’s feelings have been similarly stirred by the thought of losing Natalie and Liam. Before Aubrey can tell Joey the truth herself, Joey blasts her about her lying and scheming. Aubrey is forced to admit she set out to woo and rob Joey, but she fell in love with him. Joey is unimpressed and admits to his feelings for Kelly. He orders Aubrey out of the mansion, but Aubrey reminds him they need to stay married to retain custody of Ryder. Bo and Nora scramble to figure out what’s wrong with Matthew. When he doesn’t rouse, they panic and take him to the ER. He has a brain bleed and needs surgery immediately. Todd would shoot Tomas, but Tomas attempts to prove that to do so would be destroy Todd’s life. When Tea arrives home, Todd surprises her with news that he wants Tomas to live with them. Brody arrives and he wants to know what Todd knows about Brody’s missing son. Blair’s torn about her feelings for Tomas. Starr points out that nothing is ever perfect in affairs of the heart. Brody questions Tess who doesn’t give him an inch. But Brody levels with Tess about the baby. Bess emerges and gives Brody the name Todd Manning. Cutter’s all set to put his plan into motion. He tells Tess he’ll meet her at Capricorn after he gets the money. Tess questions him, but he assures her he’s going to get them set up so that they can disappear and she’ll be able to remain Tess forever, but we see that Cutter is betraying her. He shows up to Clint and tells him that he’s ready to commit Tess. Meanwhile, Tess walks in on Ford kissing his date. Viki challenges Clint about his claim that he killed Eddie Ford. Tea arrives to prevent Clint from answering. Clint is concerned about Tess’s marriage to Cutter. He wants Tea to go over the divorce and marriage documents to see if they’re legal. Tea says they are, and isn’t sure what can be done. Clint regrets his meddling with the paternity test. Tea admonishes him to consider engaging her services to prevent a long prison sentence for Eddie Ford’s murder. Clint, knowing he doesn’t have long to live, is vague. Viki again presses about Eddie, but Cutter shows up to pressure Clint about paying him to commit Tess. Ford is doing volunteer work with kids at the hospital. A nurse takes notice and they go out for a drink together. She reveals that she gave him a sponge bath when he was in the hospital last summer and he made a pass at her. He tells her he wishes he could still be that guy, but he’s changed. He’s trying to get back on his feet with women.  She kisses him and Tess walks in.

Brody confronts Todd about Bess’s claim that he knows where Marty is hiding. Todd hears out Brody and blows him off after gleaning that the information comes third hand by way of two alters. Brody nevertheless demands to search the house. Todd refuses but Téa grants permission. Brody finds no evidence of Marty but warns Todd to call him if Marty makes contact. Téa exits after Todd swears again that he knows nothing about Marty. Tess interrupts Ford’s date. Tess one-ups Ford with news that she is awaiting Cutter’s arrival, and when he does come, they’ll be rich. Meanwhile, Cutter puts the screws to Viki and Clint. He demands scads of cash – and Asa’s mansion – in exchange for committing Tess to St. Ann’s. Tess flips out when Cutter clues her into his doublecross. Tess is dragged away while begging Ford to get her out of this and if he does, she’ll get him his son. Blair receives a visit from Tomas. Now that he’s out of jail and the charges are dropped, he’s wondering if they have any possibility at a future. The two clear the air, kiss and decide to take things to another level. Meanwhile, James prepares a romantic evening for Starr. They decide to move their relationship along, much like Tomas and Blair. James and Starr check into the Palace and are about to go up to their room when they run into Tomas and Blair.

Marty reveals she’s been hiding in the pool house behind Todd’s house, with the baby. Marty warns him he has to hide her, because she can expose his dealings with Tomas and bring to light a computer disc that could be damaging to him. Todd goes to look for the disk and it’s gone. John appears and Marty hides. Todd covers but John is still suspicious. Brody fills in John regarding Bess’s clue about Todd knowing where Marty is hiding. John acknowledges the twisted relationship between Marty and Todd, and that he’s hidden her before. Brody apologizes to John for blaming the baby’s disappearance on him. Roxy brings a psychic to Natalie to track down Liam. The psychic confirms that Liam is alive, and also that Brody and Natalie kissed to Roxy’s surprise. Brody asks the psychic if Marty is with Todd, but at that moment Marty isn’t with Todd and so the psychic doesn’t see it. Brody tells Natalie that Todd could be mixed up in this. Blair and Tomas, and James and Starr are all embarrassed to find each other at the Palace. Both couples pretend they’re just there for drinks. They intend to sneak upstairs but Blair ends up on the elevator with James and Starr ends up with Tomas. Both couples finally get to their rooms, and the two guys don’t reveal to their women that the other woman is there about to have sex. Blair and Tomas are about to make love when Blair steps into the bathroom. Tomas sees Todd is calling him.

Bo and Nora wait anxiously while Matthew is in surgery and wonder how he received the blow to his head. They contact Destiny, who knows nothing about the injury, but is distraught to hear about Matthew’s condition. Nate and Deanna discuss Dani’s acceptance of Clint’s confession to Eddie’s murder. Nate’s upset that Dani didn’t tell him she knew Matthew was the real killer and wonders what it says about their relationship. Nate privately worries to Deanna that he may have caused Matthew’s injury when he punched him. Todd leaves a desperate message for Tomas, warning him that Marty is on to their covert relationship. Tomas doesn’t initially get the message as he’s otherwise engaged, about to make love to Blair. Todd is persistent and before Blair and Tomas can consummate their relationship, Tomas is forced to return home to see Todd, who demands that Tomas get rid of the Marty problem. Tomas prepares to do just that, armed with a gun. Blair wonders if fate prevented her and Tomas from making love and looks forward to the timing to be right for them. Starr and James are again interrupted from lovemaking, but the night is a big one for them as they admit they love each other. Rama tells Vimal she was never pregnant.
