Todd receives another visit from Irene.  Meanwhile, Téa presents a deal to Bo. Téa is given an opportunity to listen to Victor’s last words, captured on Shaun’s voicemail.  At EOD Téa seeks out Todd as Bo contemplates her offer.  Elsewhere, John gets a visit from Shaun, who relays his strange encounter with Vimal.  John remembers witnessing a run-in between Vimal and Brody and wonders if he might have had cause to kill Victor.  John confronts Brody and requests his weapon for testing.  Natalie is forced to run the test.  John wonders why Brody would threaten Victor.  Earlier, Natalie catches up with Rex.  Both are moving on with their lives.  Later, Roxy flips out when she learns from Rex that Natalie is engaged to Brody.  Roxy tells Rex that John is still in love with Natalie.  At the Spotted Pony, Rama and Cutter set up Kim to take the fall for Mr. Berger’s death years ago.  Kim beseeches Cutter to take care of her friend in her absence.  Meanwhile, Cutter shows up just as the doctor is asking the patient if she remembers her name.

Todd is grateful to Tea for representing him.  Tea informs him that Bo is considering dropping the charges against him – but he has to turn himself in.  Todd agrees to do so.  But when they arrive, Nora, not trusting him, demands he tell her the truth.  John doesn’t let go if his question to Brody: why did he threaten Victor?  Finally, Brody explodes at John, accusing him of hammering at him because Liam is Brody’s son, not John’s, and Natalie is going to be his wife and not John’s.  They leave but John isn’t about to let it go.  Jessica holds onto Liam’s paternity test but hides it from Tina.  She tells Jessica that the document, whatever it was, belonged to Victor. Ford is surprised when Jessica accepts his invitation to Capricorn.  Once they’re there, Jessica fills him in about the paternity test, surmising that Victor hated John McBain, maybe he was purposely keeping him from knowing the truth.  Rex runs into Aubrey at Capricorn.  She apologizes for telling Bo about Rex’s gun – and for trying to get closer to him right after his fiancée died.  Rex assures her he knows all about being a con, used to be one too. She offers to help him with the party for Natalie and Brody he wants to throw.  He accepts.  The doctor is forced to sedate the patient in the hospital bed.  Bo and Nora discuss dropping the charges against Todd.  Nora admits that she will never trust him.  She was fooled by him once when she defended him when he raped Marty, she will never be fooled by him again.  Bo assures her that the mayor would be happy if Nora went to trial anyway.  Nora teases Bo about the mayor’s romantic interest in him.  Cord and Tina babysit Ryder and they are reminded of parenting together.  They address the elephant in the room: their recent near-kiss. They look like they might kiss again.

Natalie interrupts Cord and Tina. Natalie finally has it out with Tina for her role in being held captive three years earlier. Tina offers to plan her wedding. After Natalie leaves, Tina and Cord agree to table the talk of their relationship for another day. Ford and Jessica’s night out at Capricorn is spoiled by Brody’s arrival. Privately, Ford wonders if Brody might already know that Liam is not his son. Brody warns gives Vimal a warning.  Danielle visits Starr at the jail cell. The two sisters offer each other advice. Meanwhile, Blair finds Jack working late at The Sun. She reminds her son that Shane’s testimony will prove that Jack lied to the police. At the LPD,  Nora makes a decision about the charges against Todd and Todd and Starr come face-to-face.

Starr and Todd have their day in court.  Meanwhile Tomas appears for his sentencing hearing. Tea tells him she can’t do anything for him since he pled guilty. Blair, kicked out of the arraignment, questions Tomas about his reasons for pleading guilty to a crime he didn’t commit. Anguished Blair asks if she means anything to him, and he makes a confession to her. Bo argues with Mayor Finn and she fires Bo, who tells her (essentially) to go to hell. She rehires him and he makes an excellent point that she cannot dispute. Roxy tells Rex about Echo’s forgery and the document that’s floating around that turns all of Rex’s money back over to Clint, and sends him a copy of the forged document.  Meanwhile Viki forces Clint to do his exercises when he gets a call from Cutter, telling him he can get all Clint’s money and property back for him, for a price. Clint calls Rex and demands he come over.   Cutter talks to the patient, who calls him Rex once by mistake. Cutter is not forthcoming when she asks him questions. Clint calls Cutter and tells him to take his document and shove it.  Cutter at first is foiled but quickly comes up with a plan.

Blair begs Todd to save Tomas from a prison sentence.  Inside the hearing room, Tomas faces sentencing.  But before hearing the judge’s decision, he directs a heartfelt speech to Téa and Blair in which he takes responsibility for his failures.  Meanwhile, Todd is confronted by another vision of Irene which prompts him to take drastic action.  Cutter comes up with a scheme to get the Buchanan money.  In Llanview, Aubrey tells Rex about her idea for Natalie and Brody’s engagement party.  Rex informs Aubrey about Cutter’s attempt to get his money. In Llanview, Cutter goes to Rex with an offer.  Starr gets physical with one of the pushy paparazzi, then is spirited inside by James.  Starr is glad to be home and can’t wait for life to get back to normal.  She goes upstairs to see Hope, leaving James to answer the door to Rick.  Rick congratulates Starr on her arrest; buzz is building, and her new bad girl image is just the thing they need to sell records.  Rick tells her that if she won’t play ball, he’ll seize control of her music.  At EOD Rick has something else up his sleeve to get what he wants.

Thanks for the recap! I am glad to see some changes happen before the show gets stale. For instance i’m glad to see Rex at his office now, instead of just at the mansion or the graveyard or the restaurant. I know that soaps have to save money on sets but I wish they had the beautiful sets that all my children had.
But watching Friday’s episode last night I realized how bad people can look on there sometimes. Irene for instance, is that a wig she’s wearing? She does not look flattering at all. And Todd’s hair is a mess and so is Blair’s! Blair had some beautiful hairstyles over the years (especially seeing the flashbacks) but now it is just a mess and not attractive on her at all.
I’m hoping the show really is planning on bringing out all the stops the closer it gets towards the end on network tv. Not only with stories and bringing back old favorites but with sets, wardrobe and hair.
